On
8-9-2001 my car was stolen on sat. a friend of mine spotted my car
on Giblet road . He called me on
the phone to check plate#, I got on another phone
line and called mesa police dept. after 25 or 30 min of getting
switched around we lost the car at Gilbert and
main. So me and my girlfriend took her
truck to look for my car got to Gilbert and main and
decided to start looking
threw apartment complex's parking lots within 3 min
we found my car. I
called 911 like we were told to and they want me to call
back on another line finally after 25 or30 min. a officer got
their. I told him I didn't have full coverage ins. on car just
wanted my car back
he would not let me get my car, they wanted to stake it out . He
assured us it would not get out of the parking
lot.
Well
it did some how and a high speed case was on, my car was wrecked I
had no legal rights. Why should I have to be out more money. I just
want mesa pd to stand up for their
mistakes and fix my car now, but all I keep getting is the run
around. I thought maybe
you could help me I need my car not a court case.

Report Any Information To the Police First
First you must call your local
police. Then get pictures of what was taken and any ID
numbers or marks that will help identify your
property. Just email
pictures in jpg. or gif. format, with your name, telephone number, email
address and if you are offering a reward. We will then post it here and spread
the word. (If you do not have access to a scanner then send us in the
mail your photos to the address at the bottom of the page).
If someone tries to sell you a hot car or part, call the
police first then email us and
we will put the owner in touch with you. Use the Red
